Cour Wind Farm

Cour is a 10 turbine, 20MW wind farm that is capable of generating sufficient renewable electricity to meet the requirements of more than 16,000 homes each year. That’s the equivalent of saving around 15 Olympic sized swimming pools of coal each year and nearly 55,000 tonnes of CO2 offset. A wind farm is a group of wind turbines. The turbines operate on the simple principle that the wind turns around propeller-like blades, which spin a generator converting the energy into electricity.
